Required Newborn Care Skills/Experience: Assist with Circumcision/Assess site post-op, Cord Care, Discharge teaching to parents, Infant Identification, Metabolic Screen, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Newborn Assessment, Newborn hypoglycemia, Teach Circumcision care to parents, Thermoregulation. Required Pain Management Skills/Experience: Epidural Anesthesia, Pain assessment & management. Required Postpartum Care and Procedures Skills/Experience: Episiotomy/Incisional Care, Foley Catheter insertion, Fundus/lochia/perineum care, Wound Assessment and Care. Required Postpartum Care of the Patient with: Vaginal Delivery, Cesarean Section, Couplet Care, Multiple Births, Postpartum Hemorrhage, Pregnancy induced hypertension. Required Professional Topics and Skills: Isolation Precautions/PPE, Vaccine Administration. Community Hospital Experience preferred. Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adolescents, Adults Patient Diagnoses: c-sections, laboring, triage SSN required at time of submittal RTO – we can auto-approve 5 days of non holiday RTO or less. Anything more requires facility approval. Candidate MUST WORK 2 out of 3 major holidays.
