Description:Charge Nurse, Med/Surg, Medical/Surgical, Full-time, Nights, Piedmont Newnan, Competitive sign-on bonusThe 1st floor is a 26-bed general medical surgical nursing unit that cares for adult to geriatric patients. This unit is part of the new south tower at Piedmont Newnan which opened its doors in May 2024. The nurses manage the care of acute medical surgical patients with a wide range of diagnoses and care needs. Through an interdisciplinary team approach, we collaborate to provide excellent, individualized care for our patients. With a goal of a 1:5-6 nurse to patient ratio and the assistance of PCTs and other ancillary departments, you will work with a multidisciplinary team to help coordinate patient care while providing high quality care to make a positive difference in every life we touch.RESPONSIBLE FOR: Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during his/her shift.
