We are looking for a dedicated MRI Technician like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe MRI Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician. MRI Technologist are responsible for day-to-day activities to ensure the delivery of quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment. What you will do in this role: You will facilitate the operations of the MRI department. You will assist the MRI Supervisor day-to-day operation of the department keeping in mind and balancing budgetary constraints, equipment and personnel needs, quality improvement and exceptional care for adolescents, adults and geriatric patients. You will demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possesses the ability to assess data reflective of the patient’s requirements relative to his/her age-specific needs You will deliver compassionate, holistic care, while supporting the rights and dignity of all patients What qualifications you will need: Graduate of an Accredited Radiology Technologist program. Current Registration with American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) MRI registered or within 6 months of hire. American Heart BLS. One-year experience preferred. We want your knowledge and expertise!Job Summary and QualificationsYou will perform Interventional Radiology exams following protocols and in a timely manner, ensuring a high quality of care. What you will do in this role: You will prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies You will prep and drape of patient and equipment prior to procedure. You will scrub and assist with procedures maintaining sterile technique. You will provide post procedure care to the patient (includes holding pressure as well as cleaning, suturing and bandaging of procedure site) You will pull needed equipment/product, circulating for cases as needed and where appropriate. What qualifications you will need: Degree from ARRT accredited RT program required. No less than (2) years of general diagnostic radiology experience preferred (1) Year of experience working in angiography is strongly preferred. Current BLS and RT certifications required.
