Aable John's Tree Service, Inc is seeking to hire a CDL Driver/Equipment Operator and worker as we continue to grow! We offer weekly pay, the rate of pay is based on experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the loading of, transporting of materials and heavy equipment safely to and from job sites and pits. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, adherence to traffic laws, and the ability to operate different types of trucks, heavy equipment trailers and heavy equipment. Also expected to support the crew by helping perform work from the ground including clearing brush and trees as directed, and performing clean-up on each job site. Active CDL Required, Class A or B. Basic drug screen and driver's license required. Position will require manual labor and exposure to the elements.
Job Duties: Operate various types of trucks and equipment including: dump trucks, heavy equipment trailers, skid loader, wheel loaders, excavators, dozer and compaction equipment. Ensure the safe loading and unloading of construction material while adhering to all safety protocols. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition. Navigate routes effectively while complying with all traffic regulations. Communicate with team members regarding deliveries and any potential delays. Handle manual transmission vehicles as required for specific truck types. Assist in the maintenance of the truck by performing basic repairs or reporting issues as necessary.
Experience: Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid “Class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). Experience driving manual transmission vehicles is necessary! A strong understanding of movement and installation materials while adhering to safety regulations is essential. Previous experience in a similar role will be an advantage.

He/she is responsible for customer satisfaction, financial management, regulatory compliance, Human Resource issues, employee competency, Performance Improvement, maintaining and complying with policy and procedures, and regular communication with employees. The Director also assumes the role of professional educator, manager, and consultant/resource person. He/she works with all levels of management, health care providers, patients and families to identify needs, design, implement and evaluate a variety of educational programs. SHARE Customer SatisfactionReviews the Gallup satisfaction results with staff at monthly staff meetings.Discusses ways in which the employees can contribute to patient satisfaction. Departmental minutes reflect documentation not less than quarterly.Provides specific feedback on the annual evaluation to each employee as to his or her contribution to patient satisfaction. Sets specific goals for employees scoring satisfactory or lower.Financial ManagementReviews monthly departmental financial statements and research material variances to budget and prior period.Reviews productivity reports as often as are merited (daily for clinical departments). Changes staffing levels to reflect appropriate productive hours per unit of service.Strategic planning for business development/ retention by research and submitting capital requests.Communication with EmployeesConducts monthly departmental meetings documenting names of persons in attendance and minutes of discussion. Appoints a departmental representative to serve as Secretary for minutes. Secretary and Department Director sign a copy of the minutes for internal record.Assures persons not in attendance have access to review meeting minutes.Regulatory ComplianceComplies with TJC (The Joint Commission) and HFAP (Healthcare Facility Accreditation and Performance) standards to ensure the hospital maintains accreditation.Complies with CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services) Conditions of Participation to ensure appropriate reimbursement.Complies with State of Georgia DHR ORS (Department of Human Resources, Office of Regulatory Services) Rules and Regulations.Ensures compliance with changes made by any regulatory agency.Human ResourcesWorks with Employment Recruiter for staffing, which may include: Selection/Screening, Interviews, and Reference Checks.Ensures employees are orientated within Gordon Hospital and their respective department, as well as reviewing employees job description.Ensures each employee is evaluated in accordance with Gordon Hospitals Performance Appraisal Policy (1800.46) New hires after 90 days, and annually thereafter.Addresses progressive counseling through verbal and written communication. Consults Human Resources for guidance in progressive counseling and terminations.Employee CompetencyProvides an initial orientation for new employees upon hire.Provides a 90-day competency evaluation for all new hires.Provides an annual evaluation of competency based on job performance.Changes competency evaluations as needed when new services provided, new job responsibilities or if clinical changes occur (new treatment, procedures, equipment, standard of care changes, new regulatory policy)Ensures through evaluation process that employees are competent to do job for which they were hired.Conforms to GH Policies and ProceduresEnsures that departmental staff complies with Gordon Hospitals hospital-wide policies, as well as, departmental policies.Performance ImprovementSelects not less than one (1) PI project for the year and completes documentation.Involves staff in the Performance Improvement process.Submits monthly KPI results (key performance indicators) no later than the 15th of each month.Conforms to all Adventist Health System corporate, Gordon Hospital organizational, and departmental policies and procedures including but not limited to:Mission & ValuesConfidentiality AgreementCorporate ComplianceRules of Conduct as outlines in the Guidelines for Employees handbookSmokingDress Code (personal hygiene)Emergency PreparednessRequired to respond to emergency situations (i.e., disasters, hurricanes, etc.) by reporting to department and staying until the crisis is over or responsibilities have been transferred to incoming personnel. This is a mandatory requirement.
