The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care. Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of a nursing programMINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:New Graduates of a nursing program eligibleMINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. The flow of the unit is fast pace but provided many opportunities to learn new things. This area also cares for general surgery, GYN, and urology patients. Clinical encounters could include: PCA pumps, Nasogastric (NG) tubes, bladder irrigation, drain management, wound care, wound vac management, pain management, heparin drips, and TPN/Lipid infusion, etc.Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1: 5-6.We are excited to be adding new members to our team.
