Perform all duties stated in Registered Respiratory Therapist-Critical Care job description. Provide family-centered care to infants from birth to pediatric patients during inter-hospital transports. Initiate emergency protocols independently following ACLS, PALS, NRP, and STABLE guidelines. Practice in accordance with the philosophy, policies, procedures and standards of the hospital; functions within the guidelines of the protocols and order sets for the transport program that are reviewed and agreed upon by medical directors. Communicates effectively with team members. This position functions as an expert resource for direct care throughout the system and supports all staffing levels.
