Conducts diagnostic procedures to evaluate the need for, and response to, respiratory therapy.Administers respiratory care therapies, including oxygen delivery, aerosol medication delivery, and chest physiotherapy.Assistswith placement of artificial airways. Initiates, monitors, andmaintainsmechanical ventilation.Monitorspatientfor therapeutic response.
