The Burn Manager assumes accountability for developing, supporting, coordinating, and presenting burn education/prevention activities within the hospital and at the community level. This would include but not be limited to providing information to staff, patients/families, and coordinating community activities to promote burn awareness and prevention. The Burn Manager will ensure that the objectives of the burn program are met in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Burn center public relations are inherent in this role.
