The team supports in-house design, engineering, construction, and commissioning of electric substation projects initiated by growing load demand and replacement of aging infrastructure. Projects supported by the team include transmission substation modifications and expansions, distribution substation construction and expansions, Battery Electric Storage System (BESS) siting and construction, and replacement of aging or failed equipment.The successful candidate develops and/or leads teams in studies and evaluations of new properties, site development plans, design criteria, specifications, calculations, evaluations, cost estimates, and budget development associated with the planning, design, construction, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of Exelon's electric transmission, distribution and telecommunication facilities/systems. Provides consultation and recommendations to the Company within and to other business units and/or customers as a result of studying company or customer-owned systems, properties, equipment, or facilities.
