JOB SUMMARYThe CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Technologists perform computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while utilizing the assessment of patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment. Participates in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique and producing CT images. Summary: The CT Scan Supervisor oversees the operational activities of the department and collaborates with leadership to address and resolve tasks such as staff development. Our CT Scan Supervisor will assist with equipment purchasing, policies & procedures, patient scheduling, patient and staff safety, operational monitoring, regulatory compliance, image quality, employee engagement and the overall timeliness and quality of services provided to customers. The CT Scan Supervisor position is a mix of clinical – up to 30% administrative. Qualifications Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiography program, Associates/Bachelor's Degree preferred. Licensure, Certification, Registration: Connecticut Radiographer LicenseCPR certificationBasic Life Support (BLS) Experience: 3-5 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
