Job Description:The Certified Nurse Assistant functions as a clinical support partner to assist the patient care team by performing various tasks and procedures as instructed by a licensed professional.*This position requires a current Colorado CNA License*The Telemetry unit is a specialized area in the hospital that focuses on the care and treatment of patients with heart-related conditions. Our floor is a 36 bed unit that also serves as a step-down ICU and plays a crucial role in our hospital by providing higher levels of care for patients who have undergone significant cardiac procedures or who are experiencing cardiac issues. We handle a diverse range of patients, including those who have had open heart surgery, heart failure, heart attacks, sepsis, cardiac arrhythmias, and respiratory failure. Will also bend to retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment. Typically includes items of varying weights, up to and including heavy items.- and -Need to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients and obtaining and distributing supplies and equipment. This includes pushing/pulling gurneys and portable equipment, including heavy items.
