Experienced Seafood Processors needed for our shore-based production plants located in Dutch Harbor, Alaska For Westward Seafoods and The Northern Victor. You will need to apply and attend a Virtual Interview.
Work will begin the 1st week of June! Interviews going on now for direct hire & June start. Beat the summer heat, cool off and make money working in Alaska for Westward Seafoods.
WSI processes several species of seafood including Pollock, Crab, Pacific Cod, Halibut and Sablefish. Production employees process raw product that is delivered from fishing vessels to sell to customers. Processors can be assigned to various positions within the production department including, but not limited to: butchering, sorting, filleting, and case-up. Processors are also required to participate in plant clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires the candidate have the ability to perform the physical requirements including; standing in place for long periods of time; repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs, and back; regularly lift and move 50 lbs; frequent rotations and twisting at the waist; frequent climbing and descending of stairs; working long hours in cold/wet environments (12+ hours per day, 7 days a week); and prompt and regular attendance. Overtime is available.
WSI has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. You will be charged $20 per day for room and board. (This Could Change before the start of the season) Will be deducted from your paycheck. All WSI employees are required to wear protective safety gear where required and are responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for self and others. Shifts will vary depending on fish, and processors must be prepared to work 7 days a week for up to 18 hours per day. There may also be periods of time when there are few or no hours of work.
Pay for 2025 B Season will be $17.00 an hour, and overtime is $25.50.
Room and Board: You will be charged $20 per day for room and board. (This Could Change before the start of the season) Will be deducted from your paycheck.
WSI will pay for your flight from Seattle, WA to Dutch Harbor, Alaska. Point of Hire is Seattle, WA.

Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age Must pass a post-offer drug screen and physical Must be able to stand and work for long hours in an often wet and cold environment. Must be able to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds. Must have a basic understanding of English, including the ability to follow written or oral instructions. Must be able to climb stairs, and stand and walk on uneven and slippery surfaces. Must be willing to work any shift, including nights. Processing employees must be able to walk quickly to designated areas in the event of an emergency, and must be able to follow emergency instructions. SUMMARYThe Home Therapy Registered Nurse -- Traveler, as qualified by federal and state regulations, travels to various U.S. Renal Care locations to provide patient training and ongoing support for all patients choosing a home dialysis modality. This position provides nursing relief/support for assigned programs on a temporary or short-term basis.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties and tasks may be assigned.GROWTH· Participate in and support corporate initiatives that promote improved care and increase growth of the home department.· Understand vendor product delivery methods and associated fees. Teach patients the importance of proper and timely order placement. Ensure patients receive all supplies in timely manner to not disrupt care.· Assist with clinic and patient supply inventory, ensuring usage is appropriate for patient prescriptions and place orders in timely manner to avoid fees and penalties. · May assist with equipment management including equipment tracking and retrieval as needed.· Perform duties as assigned to meet the patient care or operational needs of the program.OUTCOMES· May assist with improving patient outcomes through tracking and trending of program and patient performance, use of critical thinking skills and root cause analysis to improve patient and quality outcomes.
