This includes transferal of images, archiving and performing of appropriate scanning protocols. Works under guidance of Radiologists and participates in resident training program. Performs routine and specialized CT exams. * Photographs and develops exam films in accordance with the department standards. Maintains high degree of exam quality (proper DFOV -Display Field of View, protocol, name and MRN ' Medical Record Number). * Positions patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary. * Scans patients in time allotted as per department standards. Efficiently prepares rooms for maximum utilization. * Troubleshoots, reboots, calls help line, calls service and/or involves other individuals as appropriate. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.* Education: Requirement met by License/Certification Requirement. * Experience: One (1) year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience. * License/Certification: Certified by the State of California Department of Health Services in Diagnostic Radiology (CRT).
