Emphasis is on integrating capabilities to address a range of emerging customer needs, including an emphasis on classified missions.Participates in strategy development and updates with a focus on actions aligned to strategy implementation.Develops solutions that are highly innovative, bringing together capabilities ranging from data integration to MP & C2 systems, from mid-TRL capabilities to continuous delivery and operational sustainment, and for national security applications leveraging capabilities across the commercial and traditional DoD industrial base and international partners.Works with technical staff and Business Development personnel to understand customer needs; leads development of solutions that impact strategic project/program goals and business results.Performs technical execution leadership on a combination of customer- and internally-funded programs and projects.Works to secure cross-organization buy-in on solutions that move from current practices toward agreement/acceptance of new concepts, practices, and approaches.Basic Qualifications :Masters degree with 15+ years of prior relevant experience or Bachelor's degree with 17+ years of prior relevant experience.Proven ability in a recent technical leadership role to move a strategic vision into an agile action plan with demonstrated business impact and success in fulfilling customer objectives.Proven ability to develop and mature strategy aligned to customer, corporate, and related missions.Proven ability to form industry and international partnerships that collectively address challenging customer missions and address diverse business objectives amongst the team.Proven experience working with or supporting U.S. Air Force organizations, or equivalent, including AFLCMC/HB.A broad understanding of BMC3 systems, JADC2, and related DoD concepts and frameworks, current and emerging relevant systems, and customer roles.Demonstrated experience on classified command and control systems and working with classified customers.Experience leading the development of innovative solutions in support of major capture and proposal efforts, balancing these solutions against cost, schedule, function, quality, and other business considerations.Strong communication skills. Experience engaging in business development and capture efforts in the role of Solution Architect or analogous efforts.Experience in creation of white papers, proposals, and briefings demonstrating the thought leadership capabilities of the organization, as well as supporting various marketing and business development efforts through customer interaction.Active DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance or the ability to obtain one and eligibility for Special Access Programs.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with emerging technologies, such as AI/ML, edge computing, and advanced analytics.Direct experience supporting or collaborating with the JADC2 efforts, ex. Experienced Seafood Processors needed for our shore-based production plants located in Dutch Harbor, Alaska For Westward Seafoods and The Northern Victor. You will need to apply and attend a Virtual Interview.
Work will begin the 1st week of June! Interviews going on now for direct hire & June start. Beat the summer heat, cool off and make money working in Alaska for Westward Seafoods.
WSI processes several species of seafood including Pollock, Crab, Pacific Cod, Halibut and Sablefish. Production employees process raw product that is delivered from fishing vessels to sell to customers. Processors can be assigned to various positions within the production department including, but not limited to: butchering, sorting, filleting, and case-up. Processors are also required to participate in plant clean-up, and other duties as assigned.
This position requires the candidate have the ability to perform the physical requirements including; standing in place for long periods of time; repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs, and back; regularly lift and move 50 lbs; frequent rotations and twisting at the waist; frequent climbing and descending of stairs; working long hours in cold/wet environments (12+ hours per day, 7 days a week); and prompt and regular attendance. Overtime is available.
WSI has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol. You will be charged $20 per day for room and board. (This Could Change before the start of the season) Will be deducted from your paycheck. All WSI employees are required to wear protective safety gear where required and are responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for self and others. Shifts will vary depending on fish, and processors must be prepared to work 7 days a week for up to 18 hours per day. There may also be periods of time when there are few or no hours of work.
Pay for 2025 B Season will be $17.00 an hour, and overtime is $25.50.
Room and Board: You will be charged $20 per day for room and board. (This Could Change before the start of the season) Will be deducted from your paycheck.
