BRIEF DESCRIPTION:IDGrind machinist are responsible for producing work in the most efficient manner while meeting the drawing/planning specification /requirements.Sets-up and operates grinding machines to produce parts to established blueprint and engineering specifications. Selects, mounts, attaches and calibrates a variety of attachments to grind angles, contours, lines, spheres, etc. on to surfaces. Set-ups may require blocking, aligning, and securing irregular shaped work pieces. Dress and change wheels for various finish requirements. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish assigned tasks and goals.
