Requirements: At least ten (10) years of experience in Systems Engineering supporting DoD aircraft systems, DoD weapons systems, DoD mission systems or DoD support systems, consisting of the design, development, integration and system testing of computer hardware and softwareAbility to decompose requirements into technical system and software requirementsStrong communication (written/ oral) and presentations skills and strong critical thinking and reasoning skills Responsibilities: Evaluate the ability of new capabilities, updated hardware, and updated software to meet system and mission performance requirements.Develop, review, and comment on H-60 software requirements during the development and sustainment phases of a project based upon information provided by the program office. Tasks will include developing trade-off studies, engineering approach analyses, system implementation analyses, and performing research to provide recommendations.Make recommendations about human systems engineering. Preferred Skills and Experience: Experience with DOD Systems Engineering Technical Reviews, Systems Software and Systems-of-Systems engineering, model-based systems engineering approaches, and systems safety & reliabilityExperience with Mission Planning Software, DOORS®, Atlassian Jira and Confluence, and agile project development lifecycle Education: BS or BA degree in a Technical Discipline. Compensation: Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.The projected annual compensation range for this position is $115,000.00 - $175,900 (USD).
