The company also has a variety of voluntary benefits for employees to choose from.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for machinery reliability improvement and engineeringAssists with maintenance planning, daily and yearly outages and predictive maintenanceManages spare partsPlans, coordinates and schedules work requiredSupervises contractors and orders materials to ensure efficiency and successAssists with capital budget and maintenance projectsProvides guidance to the mechanical maintenance personnel in the repair, maintenance and installation functionsPerforms other duties as assignedEducationBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related fieldRequirements/QualificationsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint)Knowledge of the principles of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenanceStrong communication, organization, analytical and problem-solving skillsPhysical requirements: standing, stooping, walking on various surfaces and terrains, climbing up to 380 feet, lifting up to 70 lbs., walking long distances, ability to see and hear safety indicators and warningsMust be able to work in all weather conditions: heat, cold, wet, dry and/or dusty conditions and near hot kiln processWill have exposure to all levels of noise that require use of hearing protectionExposure to cement, clay, limestone and various lab chemicals; see MSDS for more detailsAbility to work in surroundings that include heat, dust, vibration, heights and confined spacesPreferred:Experience in project work in a manufacturing environment, preferably a cement plantExperience with ERP system, preferably SAPConditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
