Our full-time team members work a rotating 36-40 hour/week schedule, consisting of 12-hour weekday shifts and every-other weekend. Our PRN (per diem) team members are scheduled on an as-needed basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The following duties and responsibilities generally reflect the expectations of this position but are not intended to be all inclusive. To explore and learn more, click here!Are you ready to make an impact Share your resume with us today!Primary ResponsibilitiesCandidate will support advanced technology radar programs including development of radar signal processors, radar tracking algorithms, advanced sensors in EW environments; simulation of radar systems; field-testing of RF sensors and systems; in addition to the deployment of advanced sensor systems.In this role you will work closely with other skilled engineers as they deep-dive into existing algorithms to find areas for improvement in both performance and processing latency. You will find newer algorithms available in literature to investigate and determine if they can provide improvements to the various radar programsBasic QualificationsBachelor's degree, in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited school and 2-4 years of experience in radar algorithm development and/or radar analysis or Masters with less than 2 years of experience with a strong demonstration of the skills listed below will also be considered in radar algorithm development and/or radar analysis.Experience or be willing to lead a team of engineers in solving difficult radar algorithm problems, peer reviewing new algorithms developed internally or obtained from industry, overseeing tasking, and other team lead activities.Must have excellent teamwork skills and possess and show good fundamentals in the following:Digital signal processingTracker algorithmsMATLABRadar Simulation and ModelingCandidate must be a resident of the North Alabama area or willing to relocate to the Huntsville – North Alabama, AL, areaCandidate must be a US Citizen and possess (as well as maintain) a Final Secret Clearance.Preferred QualificationsExperience with radar simulation along with a strong background in statistics and probability.Candidate with additional skills in the following is desired:ElectromagneticsModern C++ developmentFamiliarity with LinuxOriginal Posting:February 21, 2025For U.S. Positions: While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.Pay Range:Pay Range $67,600.00 - $122,200.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline onlyand not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
