About the unit8N is a 28-bed med/surg unit with a renal focus; we see a wide variety of patients who are in acute and chronic renal failure requiring hemodialysis and Continuous Ambulatory Peritoneal Dialysis. About the unitNeuroscience nurses provide care for patient with a various illness of the brain and nervous system in this 32-bed neuro-medical unit. Patient diagnosis include but are not limited to CVA, TIA’s, Parkinson’s disease, Seizures, Multiple sclerosis and other Neurological disorders. Nurses will also be caring for other general medical surgical patients with various illnesses in this area.
