Assists in the daily routines of the Imaging Department. Responsible for performing any procedures that are part of General Radiology, including special procedures, OR cases, portable exams, etc. This is in accordance with approved techniques, policies and regulatory standards as established by regulatory agencies, standards and policies set forth by the organization. Adheres to the professional standards of the NYS Department of Health, the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist.RESPONSIBILITIES:Performs direct patient care: Applies knowledge of anatomy, positioning and radiographic techniques for each exam. Plans and uses time appropriately, by performing duties in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision, able to complete routine and urgent exams within departmental time frames. Follows standards of behavior as set by the department and CPH. Completes annual Healthstream programs, maintains HIPPA, complies with laws, rules, regulations, standards and hospital policies. Reports compliance issues through the chain of command. PAY RANGE:$29.15 - $42.34The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
