This role requires a strong commitment to safety, technical expertise, and the ability to work in a dynamic beef processing environment.What You Need • Must be legally entitled to work for Cargill in Canada • Be 18 years or older • Ontario or Inter-Provincial 433A Millwright Certificate is required • Full License with 8,000 Apprenticeship hours completed • Minimum of 3-5 years experience as a licensed Mechanic Millwright in a manufacturing or production environment • Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written) • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and in varied environmental conditions such as but not limited to dust, noise, hot and cold • Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above) • Ability to work in confined spaces • Perform physical tasks (bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs.)What You’ll Do • Complete general maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues • Operate motorized vehicles and equipment • Follow all safety, food safety, and environmental regulations • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goalsPreferred Qualifications • Welding certification or other trade experience • Experience in food manufacturing and CFIA regulations • Ability to read blueprints and layout drawings • Strong problem-solving and communication skillsWhy Cargill Cargill’s size and scale allows us to make a positive impact in the world.
