CNC Lathe Machinist II - Required Skills/Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent and knowledge of Excel.
- Minimum of 1 year to 2 years in Manual Lathe OR Mill operation and 5 years minimum experience in CNC Lathe or Mill operation. Multi-axis, Multi-spindle and multi-turret experience preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years to 3 years programming experience.
- Experience in an Engineer-to-Order or Make-to-Order shop environment.
- Ability to read and interpret critical dimensions on engineering blueprints.
- Experience in implementing “Lean Manufacturing Principles”.
- Working understanding and knowledge of Statistical Process Control and SPC software.
- Ability to pull a team of peers and various disciplines together.
- Understanding of calibration cycles of test tools.
- Forklift certification and hazardous communication training.
- Knowledge of precision measuring tools. Able to choose tooling for all types of geometries and applications. Knowledge in tooling manufacturer’s insert grades and tool holders.
- Knowledge of metallurgy of all types of metals including but not limited to all stainless steel, nickel-alloy, copper-alloy, super duplex and inconel metals.
- Commitment to high quality standards and continuous improvements.
- Organized, ability to multi-task, and self-starter.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work planned and unplanned overtime
Desired Skills/Experience
- Experience with DMG Mori Seki with Siemens Controls preferred.
- Multi-axis machining a plus
QA Inspector II REQUIREMENTS

Education – Related experience.
- Work Experience – Minimum of 4 years in a manufacturing environment in a Quality Assurance Inspector position.
- Must have experience using ERP software.
- Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize assignments.
- A skills test must be passed prior to hire.
- Desired Skills/Experience
- Education - A College certification or technical school in Mechanical Quality Control Techniques or related field.
- Certified Quality Inspector or Certified Auditor (ASQ).
