The Legal Assistant must be extremely detail oriented and will support and perform a wide range of duties, under the supervision of the Company’s General Counsel. The Legal Assistant will enhance attorney effectiveness by developing case information, evidence, and settlement options; tracking cases; and, supporting attorney's litigation proceedings. The position will be based in the Company’s Houston headquarters office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, though other duties may be assigned. Scheduling/Coordinating depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, etc. Monitoring Calendars and confirming case status with attorney. Draft correspondence and basic pleadings (i.e. Notice of Hearings, Subpoenas, Notices of Appearance) Preparing documents necessary for attorney appearances. Assist Attorneys with trial preparation. Clerical and administrative support to other members of the Legal department as needed Review, process and respond to subpoena requests. Complete the required Proof of Claims paperwork for Customers who have filed bankruptcy. Creating and submitting expense reports for the General Counsel Reviewing and submitting weekly all legal spend for payment processing. Gathering, reviewing and organizing documents, in response to litigation discovery requests. Document prep and redline comparisons Managing and organizing legal databases Legal Research Working with the Operations team to gather job information and create the proper pre-lien notices

SUMMARY The Apprentice I rate is intended to be used to reward employees who perform their duties as required and who have been working in the capacity of the Apprentice II for a minimum of two years on Contractor projects. Raise, place, and unite components of industrial scaffolding. Scaffolding may be free standing or attached to existing structures.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Load and unload scaffold components and equipment. Set up hoisting equipment for raising and placing scaffold components. Use ropes and harnesses or ladders to access scaffolding sites. Using drawings, assemble scaffolding from parts. Bolt or screw sections together. Cut, trim, or drill scaffold components for fit using hand and power tools. Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of scaffold components using plumb bob, level, or other instruments. Tear down scaffolding Select gear, such as cables, pulleys, and winches, according to load weight and size, facilities, and work schedule. Assemble and install supporting structures, rigging, hoists, and pulling gear, using hand and power tools. Fabricate and repair rigging, such as slings, tackle, and ladders, using hand and power tools. Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures, such as beams, ceilings, and gin pole booms with bolts and clamps. Attach load to rigging, to provide support or prepare for moving, using hand and power tools. Signal or gives verbal directions to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads, to ensure safety of workers and materials. Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces. Manipulate rigging lines, hoists, and pulling gear, to move or support materials, such as heavy equipment, ships Test rigging, to ensure safety and reliability. Modify, clean, and maintain scaffolding systems, units, fittings, and related machines and equipment, following specifications and using hand and power tools. Plan scaffold system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. Select scaffold component sizes and types and related materials, such as supports, hangers, and hydraulic cylinders, according to specifications.

To research prices and display merchandise, unload trucks, process, receive and record donations, and provide excellent customer service.  To ensure the efficient and cost effective operation and stewardship of the Goodwill store and to maximize profitability and increase training opportunities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Research merchandise value using the current pricing guide and/or the internet and price merchandise accordingly. Keep abreast of industry trends, merchandise knowledge and competitive pricing. Demonstrates professionalism at all times and presents a friendly, cooperative attitude to general public and staff at all times. Help load and unload trucks upon request. Receive and record donations from the public as needed. Must be able to ensure that all production standards, guidelines, and deadlines are met. Sort and/or price donations according to company guidelines. Assist in keeping store production supply available. Conduct self in safe manner; report all injuries immediately. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers and providing assistance with basic questions about store operations and/or merchandise. Notify supervisor of low and overstocked items.
