Truck Driver/CDL Required We are looking for 10 CDL truck drivers to drive on and off-road loaded by another machine, mounted on wheels, that transports dirt and other materials. This position will work day and night shifts throughout all locations of the project: Baytown, TX, New Caney, TX and Dayton, TX.
Job Duties Operate a tandem, single axle truck through heavy highway and bridge construction projects Start engines, move throttles, switches, and levers, and depress pedals to operate machines Signal truck driver to position truck to facilitate loading of dirt, rocks, and other materials Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, equipment, workers, and falling objects Perform maintenance procedures on equipment such as oiling, greasing, and other service to the machine Troubleshoot and make adjustments to equipment Other unlisted duties will be assigned
Requirements Class A CDL with Tanker Endorsement is required 1-4 years of experience High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required Ability to communicate in English via verbal and written communications Move throughout a construction job site which includes minor obstacles including climbing ladders and inclines, operating heavy equipment, and lifting up to 50 pounds Heavy physical activity performing strenuous day activities of a primarily productive/technical nature. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach/handle items and work with the fingers and perceives attributes of objects and materials. We are currently seeking an experienced Landscape & Irrigation Superintendent for our Houston, TX region.
Summary Plans, directs and coordinates activities pertaining to the construction, renovation and maintenance of an assigned contract in accordance with company policies, contract documents and governmental regulations.
Essential Function Coaching, evaluating and training staff and field workers in the performance of landscape construction services. Conduct field training of landscape and irrigation construction personnel. Supervise multiple landscape & irrigation installation projects of all sizes. Inspecting all field work; analyzing and resolving problems Ensuring that all construction services are delivered according to contract specifications, within budget and on schedule. Evaluate project site conditions (surveying experience) that include the assessment of current topographies and soil conditions and reports to the project manager prior to the commencement of work. Work with ‘project/branch manager’ to track all expenses on jobs, ensuring proper entry of time, materials and subcontractors for each. Managing labor force to ensure labor budgets are on track Responsible for dispatch of labor and equipment to job sites Evaluating employee safety data and promoting safe work practices or conditions; ensuring employees attend weekly safety meetings Attend pre-construction meetings with General Contractors and architects onsite before start of job. Communicate with contract administrator and project/branch manager regarding all applicable permits, utility locates and inspections prior to execution, ensuring internal digging permits are processed and in the file. Ensure all subcontractors and purchase orders are maintained, managed and aligned with each project. Manage sourcing and procurement for materials on projects. Schedule of crews for days and weeks ahead, effectively and efficiently. Ensure all projects, current or within warranty period, are being maintained and watered properly. Act as quality control for all job site installations and attend all punch walks for the project. Conduct "in-house" walk through upon completion of each job, to include assembly and completion of punch-list items in preparation for substantial completion walk-through. Responsible for managing and approving all crews’ timesheets and vacation requests. Ensure that repairs to equipment and vehicles are completed in a timely manner. Follow all safety protocols for reporting any accidents and ensure safety policies are being followed. Responsible for ensuring all crews have returned to the office and ensuring all trucks and gates are secured. Adhere by and enforce all company policies. Must uphold company policies, procedures and company core values at all times
Requirements Minimum of 10 years’ experience with landscape, concrete, irrigation and construction production techniques. Minimum of 5 years managing and leading construction production teams on a General Contractor level. Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite Word, Excel and Outlook Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Science, Construction Management highly preferred Strong work ethic Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment Expert knowledge of construction tools, machinery and equipment Customer service experience Ability to lead numerous field laborers/foreman in order to ensure job completion. Effective oral and written communication skills Successful completion of industry-related training programs such as OSHA training etc. Landscape & Irrigation certifications are a plus. Bilingual Spanish a plus Experience managing multiple projects Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to work extended hours as required Valid Driver’s License

WSI processes several species of seafood including Pollock, Crab, Pacific Cod, Halibut and Sablefish. Production employees process raw product that is delivered from fishing vessels to sell to customers. Processors can be assigned to various positions within the production department including, but not limited to, butchering, sorting, filleting, and case-up. Processors are also required to participate in plant clean-up, and other duties as assigned. This position requires the candidate have the ability to perform the physical requirements including; standing in place for long periods of time; repetitive motions using hands, arms, legs and back; regularly lift and move 50 lbs; frequent rotations and twisting at waist; frequent climbing and descending of stairs; working long hours in cold/wet environments (12+ hours per day, 7 days a week); and prompt and regular attendance. All WSI employees are required to wear protective safety gear where required and are responsible for promoting and maintaining a safe working environment for self and others. WSI has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol.
You will be charged $15 per day for room and board. This will be deducted from your paycheck.

The primary purpose of your job position is to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department to meet the needs of the residents based on budget, census, and as may be directed by facility administration. If licensed LVN or Certified Nurse Aide or Certified Med Aide, clinically appropriate duties may be required as necessary. Facilitate quality orientation program by communicating new hire orientation schedule to unit manager and unit staff who will participate in departmental orientation. Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis, as well as a calm environment throughout the facility.
