Follows the eight-step cleaning procedure. Washes walls, windows, furniture, baseboards and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff. Seeks out areas requiring cleaning; takes initiative to complete the task. Completes all tasks assigned by supervisor. Performs tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines. Strips, scrubs, buffs and refinishes floors; shampoos carpet. Contributes to the team; exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others. Performs other duties as assigned.

Prepare food for therapeutic diets in accordance with planned menus. Prepare and serve snacks. Inspect special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the resident. Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services. Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
