As a Maintenance Technician, you will maintain efficient operations and upkeep of the apartment property buildings and grounds in a supportive role under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor personnel. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property. Responsible for the preparation of vacant units for occupancy. Responsible for the care, maintenance and inventory of all supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or American Landmark. Responsible for the supply and upkeep of all personal tools required by American Landmark for Maintenance Technicians. Responsible for maintaining the required property uniform and ensuring a professional appearance and professional attitude at all times. Responsible for reporting unusual or extraordinary circumstances regarding the property or the residents. Responsive, courteous and efficient in the handling of all resident requests. Responsible for thorough knowledge of American Landmark's Policies and Procedures and the property Community Policies. Position Summary The Facilities Equipment Technician is a maintenance technician responsible for monitoring and maintaining the operations of all production and building systems; including, but not limited to, production automation, appliances, and building equipment. Essential Functions Conduct general financial management of patient accounts. Review coding information for procedures performed and diagnosis on charge, comparing to payor specific coding rules. Research, analyze and resolve outstanding customer/insurance balances to ensure claims payment. Work and communicate with supervisor, managers and all insurance staff in regards to claims bill-ing changes or trends. Appeal and resolve outstanding claims resulting from denials, wrong insurance, etc.; escalate ap-peals to all available insurance companies. Review and document work performed/action taken on AR Aging Report amounts on the over/un-der payment report; contact payer or patient as appropriate. Maintain fax logs, phone logs for insurance reference. Audit contractual adjustments and ensure that the approval process for adjustments is followed. Prepare, review and send patient statements. Uphold the core principles of Cenikor’s culture and create a positive working environment for all team members.
