We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Maintenance Technician to join our night shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe and efficient production operations.
Schedule: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (flexible days and hours, including occasional call-ins)
Job Duties Include:
- Follow all company safety procedures and participate in ongoing Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) training.
- Respond quickly and effectively to equipment failures that impact production or safety.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues involving motors, pumps, valves, instrumentation, PLCs, centrifuges, heat exchangers, steam-tube dryers, boilers, conveyors, augers, hammer mills and process tanks/vessels.
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance as scheduled.
- Communicate with the Maintenance Planner, Maintenance Supervisor and production teams to prioritize tasks and minimize downtime.
- Accurately record maintenance activities and findings in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training or relevant maintenance experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities in both mechanical and electrical systems.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, holidays, and call-ins as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and at heights.
- Capable of climbing ladders and stairs and lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, hear, speak, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Must have correctable vision to safely perform job duties.
