Performs various types of inventory audits within the distribution facility, including physical verification of product. Processes data and applies knowledge to perform adjustments to financial inventory. Researches and identifies causes of inventory variances, evaluates potential solutions and proposes  recommended corrective action to Inventory Control Manager.

1.Executes cycle counts via hands-on inspection to validate casepack, carton count, license plate and other inventory attributes based on a random selection platform. Participates in system testing as needed to validate WMS/interface functionality. Executes related systemic jobs and queries and compiles associated business reports.

2.Participates in the validation of empty locations,  compiles necessary support, and completes inventory adjustments to resolve variances identified.

3.Perform physical verification at request of IC Troubleshooter and Corporate HQ departments.

4.Performs system research on the WMOs and possibly other systems to initiate required inventory adjustments where proper and necessary.

5.Participates with periodic sampling of inventory with both internal and external auditors.

6.Performs systemic research and conducts special audits as needed, documents all findings, and discusses problems and provides proposals for solutions to Inventory Control Management where necessary.

7.Performs data entry of all inventory related paperwork.

8.Performs semi-routine duties where some judgment is required. Work is performed under defined and uniform procedures.

9.Performs some general clerical duties including copying, filing and answering telephones.

10.Exhibits reasonable care and operation of powered material handling equipment.

11.Ensures the completion of daily workload in an efficient manner to support all departmental goals and objectives in relation to accuracy and timeliness of problem resolution.

12.Maintains the integrity of our Mission, Vision and Values statement while performing daily job duties.


Qualification

1.General knowledge of Distribution Operations required.

2.Experience with Manhattan WMS Open systems and  Microsoft Office including Excel and Word is preferred.

3.Excellent English, reading, math, verbal and written communications, organizational and problem-solving skills required.

4.Knowledge of modern office methods and procedures, instant message, email and telephone techniques, RF handheld and office equipment is required.

5.Ability to maintain a positive working relationship with all co-workers  within immediate department, other  DC departments and CHQ   and to use good judgment in recognizing scope of authority.

6.Ability to handle multiple tasks, be detail oriented, maintain confidentiality and perform duties with speed and accuracy without immediate and constant supervision.

7.Ability to perform physical activity at a sustained pace within a Distribution Center environment including walking, bending and  lifting is required.

8.Must be able to pass in-house training program for powered material handling equipment.
