Job Description
Join our Magnet recognized team! This position is a great opportunity for any nurse specializing in or interested in specializing in Wound Care. This unique position will provide the opportunity to care for patients in the both the inpatient and outpatient settings. The position will care for a wide variety of high acuity patients with complex wounds and treatment needs.
The days are usually Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday each week but could be asked to rotat on occaision based on need. Hours are 7:30 am until 4 pm.
The Registered Nurse will function independently and be accountable for utilizing the nursing process. Coordinates the care for a group of patients with the Multidisciplinary Team. Delegates tasks appropriately. Identifies hospital resources. Serves as a clinical resource for new employees. Demonstrates positive formal or informal leadership within unit or department.
Wound specific experience is not required, however it is highly preferred. BSN required.

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse (MO) - National Council of State Boards of Nursing (NURSYS), Registered Nurse - Various
Associate Degree - Nursing
