Job Summary:

Position Summary
The Environmental & Support Services team members are responsible for overseeing the combined functions of Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Transportation within Cherrelyn Health Care Center. This position ensures that the community remains safe, well-maintained, clean, and supportive of resident needs through reliable transportation services.

Compensation & Benefits:

Cherrelyn Healthcare Center, a Stellar Senior Living Community, is a 176-bed skilled nursing facility located in Littleton, CO. We have been operating for over 50 years and are looking for an individual to continue the tradition of the best in care for our residents.

Maintenance
  • Oversee preventative maintenance and repair of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
  • Ensure the facility is in compliance with life-safety codes, fire regulations, and OSHA standards.
  • Coordinate timely repairs, inspections, and vendor services.
  • Respond to emergencies and resolve maintenance issues promptly.
Housekeeping
  • Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Oversee daily cleaning, laundry, sanitation, and infection-control practices.
  • Implement quality control checks and address deficiencies.
  • Maintain compliance with health department and regulatory standards.
Transportation
  • Oversee transportation scheduling for resident appointments, outings, and community activities.
  • Ensure all vehicles are properly maintained, inspected, and safe for operation.
  • Train drivers on safety procedures, customer service, and emergency response.
  • Coordinate with nursing and activities teams to meet resident needs.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance
  • Maintain readiness for surveys, audits, and inspections.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations for healthcare facilities.
  • Conduct regular safety drills, inspections, and staff training.
  • Document safety, maintenance, and sanitation records accurately and on time.
Resident & Family Service
  • Respond promptly and professionally to resident and family concerns regarding facility conditions, cleanliness, or transportation services.
  • Partner with nursing and care teams to support the highest quality of life for residents
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required
  • Knowledge of building systems, safety codes, infection control, and transportation regulations.
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
