Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Preferred 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience.
• 3 months of travel experience is required from any number of months.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a South Dakota license or compact license (required after submission).
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >100 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other-but not guaranteed, No On-Call
Unit Details: Beds: 39 – MICU, SICU, CICU, TICU – mixed unit
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit: Complex ICU patients ranging from surgical, medical, cardiac (preferred), neuro and trauma
Diagnoses include but are not limited to: ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, s/p cardiac cath, post-surgical, multiple system trauma – heavy trauma population
Required Skills/Experience: Experience with IV medications (vasopressors, sedation, paralytics), hemodynamic lines, proning, ventilator management, telemetry, strong critical thinking and assessment skills, working well in team setting, comfortable in fast pace setting with all critical patients.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Cardiac experience, Impella, IABP and CRRT
Floating Requirements: ICU RN qualified to float to ED, Could float to any adult floor – including Medsurg/Tele
