Job Summary and Qualifications
Under the supervision of the OR staff, assists in the delivery of patient care during the interoperative phase according to the policies and procedures of the facility.
What qualifications you will need:
- Graduate from approved Surgical Tech Program
| CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) or TS-C (Tech in Surgery -Certified) from the National Center for competency Testing (NCCT). Individuals hired into this position on or prior to 9/1/2010 are grandfathered into previous reuirements. |
- Current BLS or BLS instructor issued by AHA or American Red Cross
- Experience preferred
