DescriptionSummary:
The cardiovascular clinical program coordinator is a Registered Nurse who is responsible for the development, implantation, management and coordination of the multidisciplinary program(s) within the cardiovascular department. The coordinator has a strong knowledge base and nursing expertise in cardiovascular diseases and treatment modalities. The primary role will be centered in appropriate patient identification, coordination of patient evaluation, care and screening processes for specific patient populations being evaluated and treated for advanced cardiovascular disease.
Requirements:
A. Education/Skills
•Graduate of school of nursing program
B. Experience
•5 years of experience in a multiple cardiovascular care setting preferred
• 5 years of cardiovascular clinical knowledge preferred
C. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
•Current license to practice professional nursing as an RN in the state of Louisiana
• BLS/ACLS
