The Parts Logistics Systems Administrator is responsible for coordinating systems-related and environmental projects, enhancements, and analytics for current and future business strategies within the Parts Division. This includes collaboration with ISD, Carriers, Part Center and HUB operations, software providers and other Honda business units. Responsibilities include reviewing new ideas, software, training and communication to all Management, affected departments, internal or external, who are impacted by new or enhanced systems, updates or reports.
The role will also support inbound and outbound shipments as needed to help maintain high service level targets. This may include working with carriers, internal departments and TMS (Transportation Management System) for efficiencies, cost analysis and training as needed.
- Transportation Management System (TMS) Coordinator for set-up, testing, analysis and reporting to support company objectives of cost savings and efficiencies
- Support inbound freight process through TMS, batch process, troubleshooting, training
- Triple Zero team lead for reporting, supporting environmental business initiatives
- Lead projects, contribute to strategic planning and assisting others in the logistics team
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related discipline (Transportation / Logistics, Data Analytics- Management, Business Administration) or 4 -6 years equivalent work-related experience and proven record of success
- Four to sixyears Transportation and / or IT experience relating to Logistics
- Transportation Management System coordinator experience
- Certification in Oracle, SQL, Manhattan Warehouse Management System, Redwood Connect, Project 44, SAP, Power BI or other visibility providers
- Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Project Management
- Data and Financial Analysis
- Planning & Organizing
- Communication & Informing Skills
