Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 4 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Shift & Scheduling:
EOW
Weekend Requirements: 2 wkend shifts per 4 wk schedule, Nights - fri/sat, Days - Sat/Sun
Holiday Requirements: Rotate in with core staff
Is there a call or standby req May be placed on-call/standby on scheduled shifts and expected to present within 30 minutes of call back
Scheduling is 4 wks in advance
Previous Employment Requirements:
Candidates may not have been directly employed (FT, PT, or PRN) by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and/or Dignity within last 12mo
Unit Details:
OBED beds 2; 7 LDRP beds; 4-8 Overflow PP beds; 1 OR suite for C-Sections
NICU with 2 beds for newborn stabilization
70-80 births a month & NST antepartum testing (averaging 60-70 per mo)
Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios NO. Labor 1/2, 1/1 at delivery. 1/4 Mother/Baby couplets.
Types of Patients on Unit:
35 wks and above, may do twin deliveries, preterm patients less than 35 wks transferred to higher level of care
Required Skills/Experience:
Will take L&D only with OR circulating experience, but will not accept a candidate who only has postpartum exp
RN must be comfortable with NRP at delivery, no in-house pediatric coverage
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Prefer 3 years of experience in this settings.
