ManTech seeks a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Program Manager to join our team in the Laurel, MD.

Our team delivers enterprise infrastructure capabilities for a global workforce performing a wide range of missions in defense of our Nation. This effort supports the Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS) organization, which oversees MPO’s Enterprise Information Technology (EIT)the backbone platform for all enterprise users.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Lead and manage multi-disciplinary teams of subject matter experts to achieve program objectives, ensuring all deliverables are met on time
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear and effective oral and written presentations, and briefing senior government management on project status, risks, and performance.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, manage requirements, and maintain a Requirements Traceability Matrix to ensure alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and implement metrics programs to capture key performance indicators (KPIs), create data visualizations, and provide data-driven insights to inform management decisions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement, develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), and create process flow diagrams to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Utilize Agile methodologies (Scrums, Sprints) to manage project lifecycles and foster quality communication among developers and stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience as a program or project manager directly managing programs and contracts of similar scope and complexity is required
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and program management tools.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience gathering customer requirements

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in managing and leading diverse teams in a complex environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform technical alternatives analysis and make preliminary recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of briefing senior-level management.
  • Experience with systems engineering documentation (Functional Requirements Document, Configuration Management Plan, etc.) and risk management.
  • Experience working within the defense or intelligence community is highly preferred

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have a current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidate must be able to move, carry, and deliver workstations from the office to customer desks
  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Must communicate with co-workers, management, and customers via email, phone, or virtual meetings, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
