Job title: Mobile HVAC / Maintenance Technician

What this job involves

Operates, inspects, and maintains all HVAC, mechanical, electrical and plumbing equipment and systems in assigned facilities to obtain most efficient operating results and life expectancy. Ensures equipment is maintained in an energy efficient, safe manner while minimizing downtime through preventive maintenance and quick response repairs. Performs comprehensive inspections and repairs to property interior and exterior areas including building systems, fixtures, and grounds.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Performance of ongoing preventive and repair response work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems and equipment

• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior components

• Perform assigned facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations

• Respond effectively to all building emergencies and after-hours support as required

• Prepare and submit summary reports to management detailing work per

formed and recommending corrective actions • Study and maintain familiarity with building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment

• Comply with all safety procedures while maintaining good housekeeping and proposing methods to eliminate safety hazards

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.

• Must be able to climb up to 30 ft. ladders

• Ability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required

• Must be willing and able to support after-hours building related activities

Required Qualifications:

• Universal EPA 608 Certification

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering

• Strong background in technical aspects of packaged HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance

• Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license

• Ability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required

• Demonstrated ability to comply with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws

• Commitment to attending periodic training seminars

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application

• Experience managing work orders and utilizing CMMS technology

• Experience working in a service-related role, specifically in commercial facilities

• Familiarity with building automation systems • Knowledge of fire/life safety systems

• Previous experience in client-facing facility management roles
