POSITION SUMMARY: The Director, LBS Facilities Sourcing is responsible for managing Lifepoint's facilities management services-related spend categories, leading the end-to-end sourcing process for a given category, ultimately creating category and vendor standardization, master contracts, and cost savings. This role will actively engage with service line leaders and business owners to capture company standards and requirements, division and facility leadership to support implementation and compliance, and corporate leadership to report on progress and business needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: To perform this job, an individual must perform each essential function satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Independently develops and leads sourcing category workplans and timelines for assigned categories

  • Reviews stakeholder requests to determine if sourcing activities are required

  • Partners with peer sourcing category owners, leadership, legal, procurement and related business owners to influence and create new cross-functional processes needed to achieve optimal strategic sourcing outcomes

  • Gathers and performs market research and spend analysis in partnership with Sourcing Analysts for the purpose of creating financial models and making fact-based sourcing decisions

  • Leads the entire sourcing process including identifying categories to action, due diligence and analysis, stakeholder engagement, sourcing event prep, execution, measurement, and award, contract execution, and implementation and tracking

  • Employs expertise in running competitive sourcing events such as RFPs, vendor negotiations, and benchmarking of results

  • Manages multiple category workplans and initiatives simultaneously with appropriate timeline-driven approach and quality of work

  • Interfaces with key executives and other stakeholders to gain commitment and support

  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance and performs other duties as assigned

  • Proficiency with Excel-based data analysis, reviewing key contract terms, and presenting effective summaries to leadership

  • Aptitude for building processes, establishing rules and policy in collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders, and influencing peers to achieve organizational goals

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree or related years of experience required, preferably in the areas of Supply Chain Management or a similar discipline

Experience:

Minimum of 5-7 years related experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain, procurement or related functions
