This role supports critical logistics operations by delivering full-spectrum support in warehouse and procurement management. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Manage and coordinate procurement purchases, track warranties, and create/reconcile purchase requests and orders using government financial tools like FOCUS, ESAM, and SAP.
Maintain vendor relationships, solicit quotes, and communicate effectively with co-workers, management, vendors, and customers.
Review and approve quotes, create forms (DD250, DD1149) for equipment transfer, support Engineering in gathering new equipment information, and track procurement deliveries while collaborating closely with the Warehouse.
Manage and control government property, ensuring 100% inventory tracking and accountability. This includes creating and implementing procurement support SOPs for asset management, warranty, and inventory control, and verifying property records in SAP while maintaining current SAP certifications.
Apply knowledge of industry and government logistics and property accountability regulations. Tasks include conducting periodic inventory sampling, maintaining detailed property transfer records, shipping and receiving equipment per procedures, and executing strategies to resolve audit findings.
Maintain accurate inventory records, track and report data, and interface with subcontractors and customers to ensure all requirements are met. This includes identifying issues, risks, and concerns and developing mitigation plans while being proficient in MS Office and government logistics practices.
Proactively track procurements and delivery dates, update the material tracking database with real-time status, and generate monthly Customer Acquired Property Reports.
Coordinate with project/program personnel to ensure documentation for requisitions and orders is complete and maintain detailed records of all temporary and permanent government property transfers using applicable documentation and customer directives.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or an additional 4+ years of logistics experience in the commercial or DoD sector
5+ years of logistics experience, preferably supporting the U.S. Government
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to travel up to 25% within the Continental U.S.
