Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
If you have a multistate license, you will be required to complete a 1-time 6-hour suicide prevention training according to WA state regulations.

Floating Requirements:
Floating within TG to all MSU, ED Holding & willing to float to Allenmore as needed (2.5 miles apart)
-Floating:
2R (12 beds) /4R (19 beds) /5R (19 beds)
6R (36 beds) /7O (16 beds)
ED Holding
Any open MS surge areas
Traveler could float to Allenmore Hospital as needed, around 2.5 miles away. This is not common but is a possibility. Travelers should be notified in advance if they are needed at Allenmore.
Required Skills/Experience:
1 year minimum experience if they have travel experience. 2 years if no travel experience.

Patient Types Travelers Expected to Care For:
-Covid Patients
-Post-Surgical Patients: GI Surgeries, Ortho, Gynecology
-Medical Patients: COPD, CHF, DVT, AKI
-Travelers Not Expected to Care for:
-Travelers are not expected to administer chemotherapy (must be certified)
Required Skills/Experience:
-Surgical: Post-op Ortho, Neuro (joint replacement, ORIF, Laminectomy, Fusion), general post-surgical patients (cholecystectomy, appendectomy), GI Surgeries (hemicolectomy, resection), Wound dressing changes, General Drains, Ostomies, Traches (stable), Bariatric Surgery.
-General: Basic rhythm interpretation, IV Antibiotics, heparin drips, nebulizer treatments, CIWA
Shift & Scheduling:
-Schedule is typically made for 3-weeks at a time, which comes out 7-10 days prior
-Every other weekend
-Could work back to back weekends (rare)
-No self- scheduling, no guarantee of patterned schedule
Parking: Free within designated areas
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 12 months (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - 1 required for submission
