Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 36 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience within the past 12 months.
• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred from any number of months.
• Experience with HMS is preferred from any number of months.
• ASN completion required
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Tennessee license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
A minimum of 1 year acute care experience is required to work in acute care facilities. The following are considered acute care facilities: Hospital (General Acute Care as well as Psychiatric, Specialized and Rehabilitation Hospitals, and Long Term Acute Care or LTAC), and Ambulatory Care Facilities.

Experience with CIWA/COWS

Assist with bedside procedures such as picc lines/midlines

Patient Population e.g. “geriatric, adult, peds, etc.”: Ages 18 to Geriatric (We occasionally see 17 year old patients)
Required Skills/Experience:
Patient care of all ages, bedside shift report, IV access,
Procedures/Diagnostics/Treatments Performed on Unit:
Common Diagnosis/Treatment: Substance abuse, polysubtance abuse, ETOH, underlying behavioral conditions, hypertension, syncope, seizures, liver disease, cognitive changes, high fall risk, etc. Treatments vary with use. We use valium tapers, subutex, vivitrol, banana bags, and rescue medications, early and one-time doses of medications, along with routine and home meds.
7 days maximum time off
