Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Medical Surgical Float Pool experience.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is required from the last 2 years
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a New Hampshire license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

Additional Details:

Recent experience at a level 1 trauma center is required.
Special Requests: No block scheduling.
Sterile Processing Tech only: Must have experience at a similar sized hospital (minimum 400 bed size)
Surgical Technologist only: Must have Level 1 experience or comparable Level 2 experience (in a larger city/large bed size).
Shift & Scheduling: Day and Night rotation.
Floating Requirements: Will float between all MedSurg units as needed. Travelers will be working ED and PACU borders. In addition, Deceased Patient Coordinator (DPC) coverage may be required.
Float units include –
- 1 East
- 1 West
- 2 West
- 2&3 East
- 3 West
- 4 West
- 5 West
- ED
- PACU
Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Float experience.
**Required Skills/Experience:
- Chest tubes
- Tubes
- Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone
- Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients
- Trachs/Laryngectomies
- Telemetry
- Complex wounds
- Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws
7 days maximum time off
2 references from any number of months (Any reference type) - required for submission
