Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• Trauma Level 2 experience is preferred from any number of months
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Weekend Requirements: Every other Weekend
Pre-Approved Time Off: 2 Requests
If multiple holidays occur during assignment, facility will only accept 1 holiday RTO request
Float Requirement: Float to PICU, Candidates will float within the hospital as needed.

Special Procedures/Unit Details:
Off floor procedures that might include sedation. LP, BM, line placement, imaging, GI procedure. We have a sedation service that will do many of these procedures for us. We have 6 rooms designated for our oncology patients, might take them but would not have to give chemo therapy. If you have APHON, we would appreciate it but it is not necessary.
Equipment Used on Unit::
Bili lights, IV’s, A&B monitors, pulse oximeter, end tidal CO2 monitoring, PCA’s.
Unit Details: Number of Beds- 24
Compliance requirements: Bed Side Shift Reporting (BSSR), utilization of AIDET, and hourly rounding are required all RN units
