Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• Experience with Cerner is preferred from any number of months.
• BSN completion preferred
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Maryland license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

Additional Details:
References must cover at least 1 full year of relevant experience in specialty within the past 3 years.
Manager may or may not interview. Clinician must be okay with this. If Clinician has questions, please email the AM.
Shift & Scheduling:
Call Required: 36 hours in 6 weeks, or 12 hours per pay-period. - must be on premises within 45 minutes after receiving call.
Weekend/Holiday Req: Every other weekend holiday coverage as needed
Floating Requirements: Travelers are required to float before permanent staff
Preferred Credentials:
Cert Preferred: C-EFM through NCC

Skills Required: Circulate, FHM, preceptor and/or charge
High risk L&D experience
Previous Charge Experience

- Patient Age Groups: Neonates, Adults
Special Requests:
RTO must be on the submittal and cannot be changed once the profile has been sent to the manager for review
No RTO the first two weeks of an assignment
Previous Employment Requirements:
Return Staff Policy If a nurse has held previous employment with Medstar, must be gone for a minimum of 1 year to return as a traveler.
7 days maximum time off
2 references from last 3 years (Manager/Supervisor reference type) - required for submission
