Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 12 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience.
• Travel experience is required from last 12 months.
• 3 months of experience with Epic is required from any number of months.
• BSN completion required
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <75 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• COVID booster required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Special Requests: Please submit all RTO at time of offer. RTO sent after contract is signed will not be considered. Holiday RTO will be considered on request by request basis - ask is that the Traveler be available for at least 2 of the big 3 upcoming Holidays. Travel Pairs: travel pairs are allowed, but generally will not be on the same unit. Married couples may not work on the same unit
Required Skills/Experience: Post Partum experience. Ability to Circulate C sections.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Prior Teaching Hospital Experience
Floating Requirements: Ability to float to other UCSF facilities.
Required Credentials: Current and valid DL, government photo ID, or US Passport. Identity must match professional license.
Preferred Credentials: FHR completion certificate.
Shift & Scheduling: Every third weekend
Types of Patients on Unit: Our patient population is mixed. Very straightforward patients mixed with very high acuity patients with their own co-morbidities that have complicated their pregnancy. We also accept patients that are homebirth transfers and those w/o prenatal care, substance abuse, etc

Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
