Position Summary/ Department Summary:
We are seeking a Surgical Technologist to join the team within our Main Operating Room in Boston.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing sterile instruments to surgical team during surgery.
  • Organizing and arranging sterile instruments and supplies.
  • Collecting and removing contaminated items at completion of cases.
  • Assisting circulating nurses in maintaining adequate stock of sterile supplies
  • Working collaboratively in a family-centered peri-operative environment.
Minimum Qualifications
Education:
  • A certificate from a Surgical Technologist program.
  • New Graduates are eligible, provided that the certification is obtained within 12 months of graduation.
Experience:
  • A certificate from a Surgical Technologist program
  • Employment as Surgical Technologist in a surgical facility on or before July 1, 2013 or Individuals who have completed a training program for surgical technology in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps or Coast Guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service in lieu of a certificate from a Surgical Technologist program
*Sign-on bonus of $10,000 for full-time hires with over 1 year of direct OR experience as a Surgical Tech (who have not worked here in the past 2 years).*

* Additional $8/hour incentive for all hours worked after orientation is completed*
