Our client, a leader in the field of food safety, is seeking a Microbiology Research Technician to join their team. As a Microbiology Research Technician, you will be part of the BioMonitoring R&D Team supporting innovative development projects. The ideal candidate will have strong motivation, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job
- Contribute to the expansion of the food pathogen diagnostics portfolio.
- Support development projects and engage in scientific discussions.
- Analyze data and propose next steps to management.
- Execute and troubleshoot experiments independently in a BSLII laboratory environment.
- Utilize microbiology techniques, including PCR and aseptic techniques.
What's Needed
- BA/BS in Life Sciences (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or Microbiology) with 1-3 years of lab-based experience.
- Experience working in a team-based BSLII laboratory environment.
- Ability to lift 15 - 20 lbs. (food sample enrichments).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel strongly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a diverse team environment.
