Experience:
• 12 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Labor & Delivery Unit experience within the past 3 years.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:
Shift and scheduling: Expected to work every other weekend, every other holiday where applicable. OSF Call Off Policy: Equivalent of 12 hours every 13 weeks with no penalty or need to pay for the shift; Nonbillable Orientation hours: 12; Guaranteed hours will not apply during orientation.
Special Requirements: Block booking and Schedule patterns are based on department needs.
Required skills/experience: 2 years of employment and 2000 worked hours in specialty
Types of patients on the unit: This includes caring for laboring women, without complications of pregnancy, surgical interventions during labor and delivery, and care of complications of the high risk pregnancy. In doing so, promotes the philosophy of family-centered maternity care. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served (childbearing, 10-55 years of age) by the unit.
