Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 24 months of role experience is required with some in the last 12 months.
• Must have at least 24 months of Intensive Care Unit experience within the past 4 years.
• Experience with Epic is preferred from any number of months.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Washington license or compact license (required after submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Floating Requirements: Region III: Primary to St. Michael Medical Center but if needed, travelers will be required to float throughout Region Three: St Anthony Hospital – Gig Harbor, WA; St. Michael Medical Center – Silverdale, WA; most often floating between 4th, 5th or 6th floors (critical care) or to the ER for patient holds.
Unit Details: Mixed ICU (medical and CV) 4th Floor; # of beds 24
Patient Ratios: 1:1, 1:2 for ICU level acuity, 1:3-4 for PCU level acuity
Types of Patients on Unit: Sepsis, COPD, Covid, pneumonia, CRRT, IABP, impella, PA catheters. Arctic sun for post cardiac arrest patients. Recovery of immediate open heart patients. Overflow from cath lab. Post surgical needing longer recovery. - Post interventional caths.
Preferred Skills/Experience: Management of Swans, Prismaflex CRRT, IABP, Immediate open heart recovery.
Shift & Scheduling: May be working a lot of Sundays. Weekends are a high need right now; Holiday Requirement: Rotate with permanent staff.
