We are seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to lead the Amazon Connect implementation and optimization efforts across our AMR, EMEA, and APAC support teams. As the technical leader for our Connect solution, you'll be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our global Amazon Connect infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and innovation in our technology stack.

Key job responsibilities
Daily, you'll oversee the technical health and continuous improvement of our Amazon Connect environment and its impact on customer experience. As the Solution Architect managing eero's telephony platform, a typical day will include designing solutions for complex business requirements, reviewing system performance metrics, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement new features and capabilities. You'll conduct technical reviews with stakeholders, design and implement integrations, and ensure the platform's security and compliance standards are maintained. You'll work closely with operations teams to optimize contact flows, implement AI/ML solutions, and enhance agent productivity tools.

A day in the life
As a Sr. Amazon Connect Architect, you will:
- Design and implement scalable Amazon Connect solutions, including contact flows, Lambda integrations, and custom integrations with other Amazon tools and systems
- Lead technical architecture decisions and provide expertise in contact center technologies
- Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and cost efficiency
- Develop and maintain integration patterns with other AWS services (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Polly, Q, Nova-Sonic, etc.)
- Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes
- Implement best practices for security, high availability, and disaster recovery
- Guide and mentor teams on Amazon Connect capabilities and best practices, attending sales calls with potential partners on eero contact center solutions
- Drive innovation through the implementation of new features and capabilities
- Collaborate with operations teams to understand and solve business challenges
- Provide technical leadership in incident management and problem resolution

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- - Experience with CCaaS platforms and contact center operations
- - Knowledge of AI/ML services (Amazon Lex, Amazon Q)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
- Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
- - Experience with CI/CD practices and infrastructure as code
- - WiFi and Networking experience
- - Strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities
- Proven track record of taking ownership and delivering results
- - Previous experience in a sales facing role, designing and building solutions for ISP / MSP / Enterprise Customers.
- Experience managing multi-national infrastructure telephony deployments

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $239,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
